North Country NH dems are on fire people!

I was at a meeting tonight to help plan our steps toward winning this election. It was inspiring. Hillary supporters who really kicked ass during the primaries are on board with us. Twenty three people came together tonight--lawyers, teachers, B&B owners, retail workers, entrepreneurs all hell bent on winning this election.

The meeting was led by the Obama field organizer. Now I have been phoning and canvassing for about a month and had never met some of the people before. They are hard core, experienced organizers and one of them informed us that on MSNBC tonight that this election may come down to NH. I am so pumped up right now I won't sleep tonight. Things are really kicking into gear now. I've never been with people so motivated--begging to do anything to support Barack. We're going to win this, people.

6. My sister and her husband are volunteering in a campaign for the first time

in Virginia. She was at her local field office today and said a bunch of ladies came in from Maryland and DC to help out with the Virginia effort.

The enthusiasm is spreading across the country, I tell 'ya! :)

One of our most ardent Hillary supporters was visibly annoyed by an old guy who was whining that Obama needs to appoint Hillary to something. This woman was 100% Hillary, and now she's putting on the line holding a fundraiser so that Obama can have lawn signs!

People are indeed motivated.

13. New Hampshire or bust

Carpools are being organized all over Massachusetts to help Democrats in our sister state keep it blue. My group is headed to Derry on Saturday. Fact: Al Gore would have been president if he had gotten a mere 1501 more votes in NH. This cannot happen again.

We have organized phone banks and letter writing campaigns and Vets 2 Vets outreach as well. Clinton supporters, Edwards supporters and Obama supporters are all on board and ready to go.
