17. With the number of days left in the election, Obama needs to bring this into a spotlight

that will not quickly fade.

Many in this country do not understand the complexities of the Keating 5 debacle. As these next couple weeks unfold though, and the true nature of the financial goings-on of this country begin to unravel before our eyes, everyone will begin to have a much greater understanding of the severity of the situation.

Once it begins to really sink in that things are approaching a quite desperate level, Obama can say, 'okay, you see how bad this is, you understand how far reaching this is, and you see the true effects on your lives, even if you haven't been frequenting the floors of Wall St. Now, considering that, understand what McCain did with this exact same kind of situation years ago.' Enter Keating 5.

A much more "knowledgeable" and primed public due to the crumbling which will have materialized for the past few weeks will be listening. It will have a much larger impact, and I belive Obama and his campaign know this. They appear to be setting this one up for a massive blow to McCain. Let's hope it plays out as well as the current opportunity suggests.
