I mean, how would you know since they refuse to release her transcripts from all of her schools. D in Macro, huh?

There was a great line from Al Pacino in HEAT, but if I quote it here, I'll get murdered by the PC Police...it occurs when he's screaming at the guy in the interrogation scene..

1. Grades are elitist. What matters is that she had the pluck and the moxie
to even TAKE an economics course in college, and besides, most Americans don't know much about the economy either, so she's just one of us.

14. I just love this meme that Republicans push re being proud of getting sucky grades.
Is that what they encourage their kids to do? I mean :wtf:

It is the opposite of Obama's pushing parents to raise expectations for their kids and helping the kids reach them by working with them, "turning off the TV, putting away the video games", etc.

Not the case for any other profession, where we demand actual proof of competence and achievement.

18. Al Gore was an A student...
...and they called him a "know-it-all".

George Bush got C's and D's... and they made him president.

If Palin's an F student... she'll be fucking Empress of the World.

35. Except at divinity school...
My understanding was Gore's grades weren't so hot there, but maybe that's because they were testing him on shit like "creation sciences".

20. I don't understand how you can even do that. The amount of work it would take to get into so many
different schools in such a short amount of time seems like more work then it would take to just study enough for your damn classes to pass.

23. I asked the same question a while back. Plus she was a super duper senior graduating.
I was told dissuaded from even transfering to another school and my GPA was a 3.1.

17. Question. To get a 1.0 in college there are only two possible reasons.
1. She was a party girl. Which makes me wonder how hard she was partying.

2. She is mentally retarded, below th 70th percentile.

Actually I'll throw in a hypothetical third.

3. She's all of the above.

30. well, she was an admitted pot smoker...
...and when you do the math, it's clear she only got married because she got knocked up by Todd and eloped. (Track--the Oxycontin-addicted drunk who was forced into the Army--was born eight months after they got married.)

So, during high school and college, she was a pot-smoking beauty queen slut who didn't show up to class, and bounced from school to school. But she can see Russia from her house!

33. that's just insulting!
At least Harold and Lloyd were well-meaning! Lloyd traveled all the way to Aspen to return that lady's briefcase, after all.

John McCain would've just sent her note saying, "Thanks for the money, you trollop-make-up-wearing cunt." And Palin would've picked her off with a rifle from an airplane.

31. Geez! I practically slept through my undergrad and still graduated with a 3.7
and got into a good grad school--where, it turns out, I had to attend class and read. My sister was the queen of the party women, and she still went on to get an MSW from the University of Illinois. And seriously, she attended like EVERY party on campus.

What the hell do you do to even GET a 1.0, and how are you allowed to graduate with grades that low?! IIRC, my undergrad school wouldn't let you stay enrolled if you had less than a 2 for 2 semesters in a row, and I think it might've been 2.5. And I wasn't exactly at Harvard as an undergrad.

So, you take all of that, and then add the idea that ANYONE ON THE FREAKING PLANET thinks this woman should be one heart beat from the WH and, well...my brain just hurts!!!

Seriously, how can you get a D in Macro? All you need to do is learn the meaning of a few terms and read some graphs. It's not difficult.
