Heads up, Vegas! Obama to appear at 9000-seat outdoor Cashman field WEDNESDAY
Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is scheduled to hold a Wednesday rally at Cashman Field, the 9,000-seat outdoor arena that is home to the Las Vegas 51s.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. for the rally, which is free and open to the public. The program is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Note: No loyalty oaths required, GOP!

The Obama campaign is encouraging attendees to RSVP at www.nv.barackobama.com for the event.

Obama is scheduled to begin the day in Elko, where he'll hold a Wednesday morning rally in the northeastern Nevada town’s Main City Park on Idaho Street.

1. Cool!

Great choice for some persoanl campaigning and very telling, IMO . . . they must be seeing some favorable internals. I think they can take NV and this is a very, very smart step.

The 51s, incidentally (a pun on Area 51), are the L.A. Dodgers' AAA team - - that's the highest level of minor league professional baseball. The stadium's capacity is 9,334.

2. This is awesome---for so many reasons!!
How many times has McCain mocked Obama for the large crowds that he draws?

How many times have Obama's supporters been positioned as slack-jawed lemmings, because
we show up in such high numbers, to hear Obama speak?

How many times have all of us been the brunt of jokes, because we are inspired by the idea
of "hope" and "change?"

How many ads has McCain made, suggesting that Obama'S leadership and skills--that draw large
crowds--are equivalent to the antics of Paris Hilton?

We allowed the McCain camp to make us feel like shit. We allowed the McCain camp to disparage
a real leader, and a true trailblazer who inspires people to show up in large numbers.

Obama began doing speeches at smaller venues--because McCain's lie-machine had successfully convinced
some that large crowds were a joke.

YOU KNOW WHAT I SAY....NOT ANY MORE!!! ENOUGH!!!! NEVER AGAIN, I WILL BE MADE TO FEEL LIKE A MINDLESS
FOLLOWER--BECAUSE I SUPPORT BARACK OBAMA, ATTEND HIS RALLIES AND DARE TO HUNGER FOR CHANGE!

McCain and Palin are now drawing large crowds. They're relishing in it. I don't hear them cutting down
themselves. They're crowing about the large crowds. They're also touting her successful convention
speech as a revolution in modern-day politics. You don't hear them mocking themselves for their ability
to give speeches.

As it turns out--they were envious, and they had no response to Obama's overwhelming success.

After weeks of giving in, I'm glad that Obama is returning to his political roots and doing what
he does best. They can't disparage his speeches and crowds any longer--because they're bragging
about their own now.

It's time to celebrate, get back to the formula that won Obama the Democratic primary--and never, ever again--allow these manipulative, Rovian, simpletons--to define our strengths--as weaknesses.

GOBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :)

3. At least Obama doesn't have to lie about his crowds.

4. Nevada has clearly been targeted to turn blue,
and it's about time. It could have been blue for some time now, had the Democratic Party made any effort there.
