Is our PTSD from having two elections stolen from us causing us to give up? It shouldn't.
The losses we suffered in 2000 and 2004 were devastating.
This year so many of my friends are completely freaked out believing that it is happening again.
How much of our fear is based on history? Most or all of it I suspect. And when I start to falter and fear I read the three blogs I read every day.
I know many of you hate him but Andrew Sullivan is one and another is John Cole. The third is Josh Marshall.
Sullivan and Cole were republicans, Sullivan is still a conservative but he wouldn't call himself a republican (even if he could register and/or vote, which he can't). Cole switched parties. For Sullivan torture was the defining moment. For Cole it was Terry Schiavo.
Those two bloggers are absolutely convinced Obama will win.
Why? My theory is it is because they are not suffering from PTSD like dems are.
Check them out. They will calm you down. Sullivan is convinced McCain has over played his hand with Palin.
They both think the interview last night and McCain's appearance on the View today show it is over for McCain.
