McCain/Palin graded on a "curve" by the MSM
So I was watching CNBC this morning to check the morning financials as I often do. I heard in the background the discussion of the Palin interview. The discussions are usually frank 'cause the business class folks need to know the "truth".

So Joe Kernen says: "There were no major gaffs in the interview, so that's good for the republicans". Wow! He as much as admits that the republicans are graded on a total curve. It is good for them if Palin gives an interview with "no major gaffs". This is the problem that we are facing. Obama/Biden will be grilled with hard questions and their answers will be weighted against the strongest expert opinion from the other side. But Palin/McCain will get "it was good for the republicans if there were no major gaffs!?" Holy Shit!

I've seen parts of the Palin interview (that I could stomach... I can't watch too much at once or I become physically ill): It was really poor and showed that Palin was badly uninformed. I also thought that there WERE major gaffs. So we see that the republicans are graded on a curve and it is a VERY GENEROUS curve!

1. James Carville was on GMA this morning
And he said that he teaches and is notoriously an easy grader and grades on a curve. He said "Grading Sarah on a curve...I'm an easy grader...grading her as someone who has had her passport for only a year, I give her a C - ."

3. Carville is a tool of his bedmate
He should have given her an F -- flat out!

Carville is a Republican - plain and simple.

2. No major gaffs?
Gibson had to finally explain to her what the Bush Doctrine was, and even then she did not understand the question.
