'the focus' doesn't work. The campaign has to hit hard on multiple fronts. Issues, themes "we can't afford more of the same", framing the opposition correctly, hitting real personality issues (no choice there or we appear weak.) That cannot be captured in a single choice poll.

I kind of like the idea of campaigning in different states, talking to people on a wide range of issues, answering their questions. I know it sounds crazy, but it just might work!

My new focus is jobs. Most Americans need to work but we're losing jobs. McCain doesn't seem to realize that or care.
