The Palin Interviews - Many DUers Don't Realize There Are 2 More Coming!

The interview is being conducted in three parts. It was not one long sit-down.

1) The first part - snippets have been aired. It was conducted Thursday morning (Alaska Time).

2) The second sit-down began shortly after the first part had snippets aired on the evening news. These are just now being released. You'll find excerpts at http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/story?id=5781460&page=1

3) The third sit-down is scheduled for tomorrow at Noon, Alaska time.

It will all be shown, as a whole, tonight on a special edition of 20/20 at 10 ET.

I think many DUers are under the faulty assumption that what we've seen was "the" interview. Far from it. We've seen snippets from only the first of three interviews.

Bottom line: No telling what she might say - (or not know what to say) - in the next two interviews.

We'll know tonight after 20/20.

3. First Impressions Count...

I saw CNN tear it apart as well as MSNBC...and there are articles coming out across the country today that will pan this limbo dance she did under the low bar of expectations. The soundbites are scary for most to watch and no matter what she does for the next two sit downs (and, yes I knew this was the deal from the outset...why it was packaged for 20/20)...and I was surprised she failed so badly at this...it's gonna be damage control from here on out.

This has the makings of a very defining moment in this campaign as Bambi is exposed to the headlights. Many who were torn between right and left on how they felt or knew about her had their feelings affected one way or another from watching this first part. And I think it is not going to be very well received.

A great example is CNN trots out Bay Buchanan to try to spin this thing and her lame defense was so bad that at the end you heard audible laughing from Sweet Table Candy, Roland Martin and Mrs. Dan Senor (I must admit Campbell has been showing some guts as of late). The corporate media gerbil wheel has a new toy to spin around for the next 24 hours.
