10. And when he's being truly objective, he's very informative. I like him -
I can't help myself.

12. I agree. Sometimes he takes his partisan hat off and actually
tells the truth. Of course, as soon as I think that - he goes off the wagon.

I have listened to him a lot. I wouldn't bet the farm he doesn't actually
vote for Obama.

I think he would definitely be on my list for a dinner guest of all sorts of people.

3. I'm guessing Pat hadn't seen the Palin interview with Gibson yet, otherwise
he would have downgraded his "good" rating for McCain.

16. I did earlier but...
CNN went right to hurricane coverage and mentioned the NWS warning to Galveston about "certain death" to occur if they didn't evacuate.

They are doing discussion on the Palin interview now... I guess nothing about the Service forum. Not juicy enough. :eyes:

However I expect they will all get their new talking points tomorrow and they will become lunatic fringe zombies once more and will trash Obama's excellent appearance.

8. I gotta admit it here... I enjoy watching Pat Buchanan.
I disagree with just about 200% of everything he says, but I'll be damned if I don't find him ammusing!

...and he was right on this one! Excellent night for Obama!

18. There are repukes that I want to puke when I see - he's not one
of them. Maybe I am different than most here - I guess being in TX and LA - you just
have to associate with repukes since there are so few dems. Some you want to
beat with a stick. Some intrigue me with the lively discourse. Maybe it's the
ones who aren't stupid and aren't filled with hate and bigotry. Maybe it's just
the challenge of thinking you could convert them?

27. If ALL the repukes were Pat, they would be OK ...
partisan politics is partisan politics - Pat is a flat level partisan. He also is a CLASSICAL conservative.

I can live with that.

There is just a whole nother level of scumbaggery that has arose after him.

might fairly be categorized as as bad.

was the pitbull in the WH press corps? Same thing with Sam Donaldson.
Guess paycheck became more important.

13. David Gregory is a bigger partisan hack than Pat.
Pat spews the talking points, but at least he gives Obama props from time to time, like after his convention speech. Gregory NEVER breaks the script.

23. I think he shows us the difference between a supporter and a shill
The shills are the ones out there crying foul over Obama's lipstick comments. Buchanan clearly doesn't want Obama to win, but he does try to keep his criticisms honest.
