(ahem)...Palin coming to Dallas to meet with "grass-roots activists"

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is scheduled to visit Dallas on Oct. 3 for a fundraiser and possibly a public rally.

Since becoming the Republican nominee for vice president, Ms. Palin has electrified the GOP base and helped John McCain surge in the polls. Local Republicans on Thursday were ecstatic that she’s coming to town.

Ms. Palin will participate in a lunchtime fundraiser at the Fairmont Hotel. Tickets will cost $1,000 a plate. The top level being asked for host committee is about $57,000.

(snip)

Mr. Neerman said he would try to get Ms. Palin to attend a separate event to introduce her to county Republicans who are not donors.“We want her to do something with our grass-roots activists,” he said.

7. Are they serving the community organizers on a plate?
She likes moose stew, perhaps in Texas, where they kill people who kill people for killing people to show people that killing people is wrong, more than they do in any state, don't they make stew out of community organizers?

6. I don't think that the city of Dallas is very Republican but
Dallas county and neighboring Tarrent county is very Republican. Palen will find many fundamentalist Christians who will be happy to enjoy her BS.

If I had to guess, her "grassroots activists" will be in Highland Park where days are spent at spas and tea parties..chimp likes to refer to it as DALLAS when in fact it has nothing to do with Dallas or the typical population.

Being a local, theoldman, you know what HP is all about. For the non-locals: It is a tiny island of a splotch in the middle of Dallas where the zillionaires live...where chimp and pickles lived pre-governor and where Laura is house-shopping for the post-chimp regime. They like to call it "Dallas" for name recognition ONLY. It sounds good in sound bites.
Chimp had an election eve "rally" here in 2004 at SMU. Ticketed only event, closed to the public in a univeristy gym, filled with $MU population and no doubt hand picked local repuke cronie$..at MIDNIGHT, literally. He had to sneak into town under the cover of darkness to a closed event. I remember the cable news shows carrying it live.
Palin would not draw a legit crowd in an open air, open to the public event in downtown Dallas. They are pulling the same stunt as chimp did with name recognition.
