The Republican Base Doesn't CARE Palin & McCain Have Abused Their Offices. They Don't CARE
About the drug abuse. They don't CARE about the hypocrisy of Palin's xtian conservatism.

All they care about is that they have someone on their team who wants to beat Democrats is on their team.

We don't counter this by shoving in their faces what they already know and don't care about.

We counter this by showing the big money donors that McCain / Palin would spell another four years of disaster for their investments, and watch the campaign dollars dry up. No money, no advertising. No direct mailers.

2. they don't care that palin is unqualified.
They don't care that in her first speech on the national stage , she lied. I asked a republican at work about the bridge to nowhere. I asked him if it bothered him that she lied. He said 'No, that's politics'.

3. Real Americans care thats why shrub is so loathed by half of his own part.
Talk to those people and remind them of that. It works unless you are talking to a neo con. If thats the case call them a fascist and walk away.

7. It's seems they deliberately vote against their own best interests.
Yesterday I met a young marine now working as a carpet cleaner. He asked me who I was voting for. When I responded with "Obama"
he said he wasn't voting because he didn't want to get called for jury duty...WTF. I just burst out laughing and told him he would get
called simply by being registered TO vote. It was a blatant lie, he knew it and I knew it.

Nothing irritates me more then when they're so ashamed of their choice they can't even admit to it.

10. Correctomundo. The truth, facts mean NOTHING to the red staters.
I am so tired of reading that when the populace hears 'this' or when the populace hears 'that' then

the polls will change. No they won't. Crisco is correct. The more wrong Palin is, the more crude,

unsophisticated, anti-intellectual the more the repugnantcan base will lap it up like a cat laps up

cream. We won't win by educating them because 'edjumakation' is for wimps. We will win by

getting more voters to the polls.

11. How to get the attention of those WITHOUT investments?
Working class, struggling, and voting against their own interests because they've grown to hate the words "liberal" and "democrat," even though they don't know the real meaning.

Hateful talk radio has done it's job well.

12. They're The Ones Who Don't Care
Only thing that's going to get their attention is re-instating the Fairness Doctrine.
