More Evidence Of Big Media Bias - Refusal To Cover Hillary Clinton Support Of Obama
The great irony now is that an alleged Hillary Clinton supporter supporting McCain can get more coverage than Hillary Clinton herself. Hillary Clinton appeared in Florida in support of Obama, and even addressed the lipstick non-troversey. Yet, very little coverage was given to this event, thus even DUers ask, "Where is Hillary Clinton?"

We really need to come to grips with just how biased Big Media is if we are going to win this election. To have a chance, we will need massive volunteer support to convince people on a one to one basis to vote, and to support Obama for President.

1. I agree.
She is doing what the Obama campaign wants her to do, exactly. Andrea Mitchell just reported on their supposed "Palin strategy", and it makes perfect sense to me, so I'll report it from another thread.

"Andrea also reported that Hillary and Obama spoke on the phone on Monday night about how to "deal" with Palin..they (supposedly) concluded that it would be best not to have Hillary attack Palin directly, because that would draw even more media attention to Palin, energize the Republican base even more, and contribute to the "Palin as a sympathetic character" narrative. Lee also reiterated an earlier report that an aide told him the "gloves would come off" tomorrow. We shall see."

2. It happened in 2004, too
The media ignored a lot of good responses from Kerry and other Dems - Edwards was practically ignored after the DNC.

A lot of DUers even think Kerry sat on his hands while the Swift-Boaters were trashing him - however, Kerry responded vigorously and often, it just got no coverage, while the Swifties were featured guests every night for a month on cable news.

7. It sure did
People have been posting the facts about that over and over again, but it still falls on deaf ears. People complain about the media, yet buy into everything they fabricate about Democrats, unless it's not their favorite Democrat or liberal.

4. My advice to the Obama campaign - lie, lie your ass off

Put out ads that accuse McLame of child molestation, drug abuse and sex with farm animals. Who gives a fuck whether or not they are factual? The "librul media" will put the ads on if only to deplore them and a lot of dumshit amurkins will only remember that McPOW was accused of this shit. He will then have to come out and deny that he has done all this appalling stuff. Which will keep the story alive for another news cycle.

And I honestly don't know that McSame isn't guilty of child molestation, drug abuse and sex with farm animals.

12. Sadly enough, this is what politics has become
It's not about the message or what you bring to the table, it's all about the narrative and the spin in the media. People will laugh at your post or call you crazy or extreme, but what we are witnessing now is nothing short of the exact same damn thing. McCain and Palin lie with impunity and it translates into votes. People call them on it, they spin, and it translates into votes.

I'm not suggesting that Obama come out slinging mud like crazy - but a few well aimed shots would help turn back this tide.

8. I agree. They were all over the "feud" but will not cover her support.
Not a word about it. They are trying to give the impression that she does not support him.

If they refuse to cover Bill Clinton's support of Obama, then we will know that the fix is in, since they have covered every word that Bill Clinton has said up until now.

14. The media has never covered anything good about the Clintons
unless it had to do with Bill doing some good work with Bush Sr. And truthfully, I think that had more to do with them trying to make Bush Sr. look good and by proxy Bush Jr.

You know, MCT, this kind of thing makes me crazy and sometimes I despair. And dammit, that's just the effect they want, too.

9. Dems may have to create ads of Hillary speaking for Obama and put them on national TV.
In order to alert people that she is supporting him.

10. The media got their younger, dumber and "prettier" "upgrade"
so they could care less now about Hillary. Please the bitterness and hatred I have for the media. Like Bush, they'll never do enough to make up for their fucking incompetence and abetting of war crimes.
