about the threat to Obama. I'm sure it was just redneck ignorant talk but I did report it. (thank you moderator for the contact number). Someone on that thread said if someone said that to me I would report it, so I thought I should do the same for our guy.

They are on their way to my house to get statement and bring pictures to identify. They ARE going to go talk to him and ask him what he meant by it.. etc. I told them that it was problem nothing, but what struck me odd is that he would say that TO an Obama campaign person, and in front of kids!

I just hope this guy doesn't try to find out who I am. I was alone when I was canvassing, only with my children, so it's going to be obvious that *I* called the authorities on him.

I'm glad the SS is taking this seriously enough to follow up on it. Did you see the post from a DUer in your original thread, that s/he reported someone who threatened LBJ and the person wound up doing time? He had lots of illegal weapons, too. You never know.

16. I've heard through the Mississippi grapevine

that there have been at least two death threats made against Obama for when he's doing the first presidential debate in Oxford, MS. And there was at least one death threat in Denver. All are being taken very seriously from what I hear. So I'm glad you took the one you heard seriously, too. thank you! :patriot:
