Obama on the "latest made up controversy." "ENOUGH!" A quick transcription of his comments.

"They are playing the same game that have made people sick of politics. They know it's catnip for the news...

This is the same old political game... It would be funny but it's phony and foolish diversions rather than about the future. Every four years, this is what we do. We have an energy crisis, and education system that is not working, we have an economy that is creating hardships, we have two wars going on and veterans not being cared for...and this is what they want to talk about. You know who ends up losing at the end of the day --- you do!

Enough! I don't care what they say about me but this election is too important. No more swift boat politics! Enough is enough. These are serious times, and they call for serious debate...

Spare me the phony outrage!"

6. You tell 'em, Barack. Bravo--and thanks for not apologizing.
Especially considering you didn't do anything.

And finally calling it out for what it is--phony outrage. Thank you, Senator--that shows big cojones.

12. Now THIS is how to respond to their BS
Set a trap and then call BS on their phony outrage. He just took the air right out of their swiftboat crap and didn't feel the usual need that Dems have to apologize for something that was never said or meant.

Time for lil Sarah to put on her star-spangled big girl panties and deal with it--except it's not about her. But she should put them on anyway. Take it from me--she's going to need them when McDepends kicks the bucket.

28. Tomorrow, the Creepublicans will accuse Obama of being a coward
In a speech, he'll say something like:

"I'm afraid that it looks like these swift boat tactics is all they've got."

John McCain will isolate the first words "I'm afraid". The media will continually play "I'm afraid" over and over. McCain will claim that Obama is a complete coward for saying "I'm afraid" and question whether someone who says "I'm afraid" can stand up to the terrorists. The media will question surrogate after surrgate as to whether Obama is a complete fraidy cat.
