We did it!!!
Edited on Tue Sep-09-08 06:57 PM by WyldRogue
We the People have shown that we indeed do love the lies and deceptions wrapped into a soap opera shell as essentially half of our great nation has climbed aboard the McCain/Palin Express train to the WH.

We are going to show the world that you don't need experience or qualifications to run for one of the highest offices of the United States....all it takes is glasses, a rousing speech ghost written for you by the same people that wrote for Bush and Cheney chock full of lies and half-truths to bolster your image, steal the campaign slogan of your rival and claim it as your own. And my oh my how the American public just eats it up and asks for more while the MSM and other news outlets a derelict in their duty to report on any and all discrepancies. Instead, they choose to avoid asking the tough questions and play right along with the lies...

I can see it now...

MSM/News outlets won't bother doing their jobs, the RepubliConjob machine gets more popular as the MSM dedicates their energy to portraying the RepubliCons as the better choice and come Election night, they will proudly declare McCain/Palin as the winners... no matter the vote, it will always be the RepubliCons in control :(

How else can you explain their rise in popularity whilst Obama/Biden are now considered the laughable ticket now??

Our great Nation is no longer the one we have all lived and loved in... I am really starting to miss her :(

"...steal the campaign slogan of your rival and claim it as your own."

There are so many things that bother me about the GOP'ers but this one really bothers me the most. People aren't aware or choose to ignore that McShame/imPalin are so unoriginal that they actually steal Obama's campaign platform.

6. Oh puh-lease....
Please STOP with the negativity. It's not helpful.

Your energies would be better served getting out there and actually doing something. Make some phone calls. Walk some neighborhoods. Take some ACTION.

I'm am getting really tired of this negative whining crap.

Sorry, but it's true.

8. no, we are beginning to resemble Germany while the Nazi party was rising to power....
It is frightening.

And yes, all sarah palin does is read from a script. I watched a clip of her making the "no thanks to the bridge to nowhere" comment and she used the same hand gestures several times. Anyone can read from a script. She is so far out of her league and it will become obvious the further along this campaign gets. At some point, she will have to be unscripted, at least in the debate if not before.

11. Uhh ...
... exactly when did Obama/Biden become the "laughable ticket"?

You're the only one who can answer that question, as this event seems to have occurred only inside your own head.

17. Easy...

...turn on any TV station, pick up any paper or visit any other news outlet outside of the US and you'll see the fawning over the McCain/Palin ticket.

It's those that refuse to see the writing on the wall while it's being written that bothers me.

And I AM busting my ass for Obama and Biden, so far I have donated close to $2100 to the campaign, pounded the pavement in my town talking to people about Obama and the hope he offers for us.

And to the 'poster' that wants to insinuate I am a Repug'r: Obama is my candidate! *edited myself*

I'm an Independent and a realist, not a daydreamer.

And if I am wrong when it is all over, then I'll be man enough to admit it.

19. Kinda funny...
...to see you people jump all on me like a bunch of kids.

The objective truth is right in front of you but you won't take the time a realize that the fix is already in. How can the McCain campaign steal Obama's campaign slogan and NOT ONE media outlet has called them on it??

Is it due to complicity?? We Americans are already to complicit except for some that are witnessing another round of BS soapbox rhetoric taking root and driving the GOP back to the top. I hear more about Palin and McCain than I do Obama. I see more attack ads against Obama than I see against McCain (4:1 ratio)

I guess because I'm a realist and have seen this same shyt before, you newbs want to castigate me.

Should I scan the Obama fliers that my family and I made to promote Obama/Biden?? And this was done on MY dime, my time so don't sit on here and tell me I'm not supporting my candidate.

(I am sure more attacks await me as I finish this post)

20. So the fact that the MSM is "fawning" ...
... over McCain/Palin (which, BTW, they're not), that means Obama/Biden is now a "laughable ticket"?

Okey, dokey.

But the less hysterical among you probably know that.
