300,000 NJ voters told they're not registered
TRENTON, N.J. - Letters have gone out to 300,000 voters in New Jersey saying they're not registered to vote. But in many cases, they are.

State officials blame a fact-checking system that compares motor vehicle records with state voter rolls. The systems flags voters when information, such as their birthday, doesn't match.

Letters were mailed to voters Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland and Essex counties.

Between 850,000 and 870,000 letters will be mailed in all.

3. I'm sure they misspoke...
They must have meant to say, "Letters have gone out to 300,000 Democratic voters in New Jersey..."

7. Having lived in NJ for 15 years, there were only two surprises
Cape May and Cumberland counties aren't areas I worked in much, but the population is low income working people. No surprise, the other counties are heavily populated with minorities, they're just segregated from the well to do. For full disclosure, I lived in Essex Co for seven years and it wasn't a neighborhood for those that couldn't meet the buy-in price.

12. The best reason to disegard polls
is that new voter registration has been almost 3/1 Democratic. It doesn't matter what part of the country you look at, the Republican story just doesn't sell anymore except for that 20% that buys the story sold by the corporate media.

9. Any stats on how many are Dems vs Repubs?
Can the voters challenge this if they believe they were cancelled in error? We cannot let these bastards steal another election!

11. AND IF YOU THINK YOU ARE REGISTERED...
DON'T TAKE IT FOR GRANTED. CHECK IT NOW!!! EVEN IF YOU VOTED IN THE PRIMARY.

That is all. :-)

15. My mother received a letter.
She's been a registered voter since 1966 and she voted in the primary.

She called and the clerk had received 300 calls in the morning.
