to demoralize us. All of a sudden there is a shit sandwich fad, we start to see polls that men like shit sandwiches, that women like them even more. We scratch our heads and say, "Who the fuck likes shit sandwiches?" All sorts of folks say they would never fucking touch a shit sandwich, but still we see that 52% of men like their shit sandwiches on rye while a majority of women prefer shit on whole wheat. We see people on TV asking if roast beef and cheddar was a big mistake. None of this makes sense and we just go nuts trying to figure out why so many people like to eat shit despite daily revelations about how bad shit is for you and why people who never ate shit nonetheless have a favorable opinion of shit eating. Finally we just say "fuck them, they are nuts, let them eat shit...I'll just try to keep them from breathing on me."
