Several days ago, Jeffrey Feldman at Huffington Post wrote the following:
"Last night, while Americans sat quietly expecting to watch a video 'tribute' to victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001--John McCain took advantage of America's good will to showed a video falsely linking Iran to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001."The first line of the narration of the McCain propaganda film was "The first attack occurred in Iran." The video then shamelessly and brazenly linked 9/11 to the Iran hostage crisis, nearly 30 years past.
If the media had any guts, that line should have been the end of the McCain campaign. It is so blatantly false and such blatant propaganda (never mind the bigger picture, the exploitation of 9/11 - again), that it should have been the beginning of the end.
If anything deserved a little 24/7 coverage, it was this. Instead, it's been largely ignored, and the media continues to fawn over a four-month-old.
