Today was a good day. The press are finally doing their job.
Biden tearing it up on the campaign trail, Obama on KO, Palin FINALLY getting taken to task on her past. Things are starting to look up again, me thinks.

I don't know what suddenly changed in the press that they finally decided to get their butts in gear. If I had to guess, I'd say it's the wounding of their pride that occured when Palin magically became "off limits" to them. I think that will REALLY come back to bite the McCain campaign in the ass. But whatever the reason, I am liking it alot!

We have to keep at it of course. The race is far from over, but in my opinion, today gave us a pretty good shot in the arm.

Good night all!

1. They're pretending
Then need to look "fair and balanced", they'll be back to the RNC talking points soon enough.

2. I really think its because Palin won't talk to the press unless she is coddled

The MSM is NOT happy about that. You can't avoid the press and then ask to have your ass kissed. McLame is gonna rue the day he decided Sarah was "too good" for the media...they never like it when someone acts like they are above them. They will tear someone down fast.

4. I tentatively agree
The press started dogging McCain after he started limiting access to himself a month or two ago.

3. Putting the tinfoil hat on:
It's because McCain is finally ahead. Time to switch sides... for now.

Taking the tinfoil hat off, I would say that the lies and abuse from the McCain campaign are becoming too much for the media to take.

5. They realize that if McCain is yanking their access as a candidate..
..he would be REAL QUICK to yank it, if he were to become President.

You see, they have this little notion that they are "free" to "tell the truth" and "investigate", and McCain is challenging that notion. I hope they nail him to the wall, in response. This is a critical time, because a lot of fence-sitters are making up their mind who they are gonna root for in the debates, and McFailin are looking like a couple of scared weenies.

6. The media favors the underdog...
and right now Barack is behind in the polls. Just like they were hammering Barack when he was ahead, they will now hammer McCain until his lead shrinks to zilch. The media's only interest in all of this is ratings. The more they can shape public opinion to where the race is very close, the higher their ratings will be.

7. Slapping my knee and LMAO at this thought....
I guess corporate media doesn't like being on the receiving end.

Sometimes it's hard being a tool. Who knows, they may learn to like being on the liberal dark side LOL (don't worry, not holding my breath here) :D
