A big thank you to Howard Dean and Barack Obama.
I'm so grateful to that man. In the last 3 election cycles, I tried to get yard signs and find out what I could do to help. In our area there was a Dem office but no one was ever there. Messages left on the answering machine were never responded to at all. Now there is an office that is humming with activity and people respond (I'm one of them) and they are working their butts off.

Thank you, Howard and Barack for the 50 state strategy and for not ignoring rural areas. Well done, you!

2. In 2000, the entire SC county I lived in had NO DEM OFFICE.
In 2004 we moved to a fairly large city in NC and the Dem HQ I worked in was in the back of a flower shop and had a few ancient computers. The DNC had allowed these state party infrastructures to collapse = we should have won NC in 2004 - unfortunately, they did the same to other crucial states like Florida and Ohio, too.
