Just some anecdotal good news from a Hoosier...
I know people are a bit worried during this temporary bounce, but I have to tell you I've never felt better. I live in a VERY RED (89%) suburb of Indianapolis and I see more and more Obama signs & bumper stickers every day. Bumperstickers on old white guys' cars at church, moms wearing Obama t-shirts at football games, and dozens of yards signs and NOT ONE MCCAIN SIGN to be seen in my town of 18,000. In 2004, Bush signs were on every street corner :puke: and Kerry's were few are far between. I realize this is all anecdotal, but as a lifelong resident of this state, I've never seen anything like it. I have a lot of faith!

1. My sister is in Indy, and she told me yesterday....
that a lot of people are voting for Obama, but they are calling it "the Biden ticket". LOL. I don't really care what they call it, as long as they vote for him!

4. Hey, whatever it takes! Was she a Hillary supporter in the primaries? I ask because it got pretty
ugly between the campaigns here in May.

5. No, she was a Biden supporter, as was I.
It didn't naturally shift either of us at first to Obama. I think we were still pissed off that the media picked our candidates for us, but intelligence prevailed. :-)

9. Uhm they did.
That's how I see it anyway. You're welcome to disregard it, since it's my opinion, and not one I'm interested in debating.

10. So was I! I really liked Obama, but just wasn't sure he was ready. He has proved me wrong, imo.

In fact, I would have loved a Biden/Obama ticket. (And I agree with you about the media, btw.) It was Clinton, Obama, & Edwards nonstop... BUT, now looking back, I don't think Biden could have done what Obama has done. So, in the end, I think this worked out the best for us. I could not be more thrilled about Biden being on the ticket! Joe is right! ;)

2. I was in a very red part of my state yesterday,
and the Obama campaign was in full force registering voters at the entrance to the fair I was attending. I was proud to see that.

Also, two of my friends who haven ever in their life donated to Presidential campaigns gave money this morning to Obama.

3. That's awesome. I think something is happening in the country. Some are still sheep, but many
are waking up.

7. I was wondering last night....
has there ever been any other election where so many republicans came out and openly supported the dem ticket. Anyone else remember it ever happening before?
