Concerning Obama interview....
why have I heard almost NOTHING about the interview with O'Lielly? Was it that much of a NON-event? I refuse to watch that bastard, so I wont go see for myself, but there are those who have stronger constitutions than I. I did hear about the surge comment, but was there anything else??

1. Bill O
made it a non event...Obama held his own but Bill was acting like such a child it wasn't worth watching ..interrupting acting like golly gee maybe he should be president...he took a great opportunity and plainly put fucked it up.

2. From what I could tell...
The interview has been broken up into several parts.... (milking it?) So far, I've only seen the first portion.

O'Really said something to the effect that the more shocking stuff is yet to come in the other installments. O'Really was doing his best to be his usual assbag miserable self, as usual, and succeeded. Barack didn't back down and held his own.

Personally, I don't think Barack should have given him the time of day.

3. IF FOX knows what they are doing
for their prime mission they will let this polite interview get buried. It will resurrect in pieces during later shows twisted in counterpoint to some spin. They own the footage, right? It will make Obama to to be self-contradictory or worse.

Or they won't mention it at all ever again except to show they are fair and etc.

4. exactly, and his surge statement will come back to haunt him big time, at the end
of the campaign, or whenever the pugs think they need it most

I still can't believe he went on....nothing good can come of this

nothing

and just for the reasons you state

truth is NOT an option for them

5. Not hearing much about it means Barack kicked his
ass.

He could have made Bill look stupid, but didn't, Bill knows that, and appreciates that.

The secondaries are left with picking through the scraps to try and misinterpret something Barack said but they won't get much.
