Why is it so hard for Obama to ...
- Focus this election on the economy, gas prices, loss of jobs, etc... (he will never win the commander-in-chief contest)
- Show ads incessantly of Gramm calling the US people whiners; McSame not knowing how many houses he owns, etc...
- Tie the Iraq war to our broken economy: all the money being spent in Iraq (and for McSame's future wars) should be invested in America.
- Pat McSame on the back for the "surge" - which it appears BO may be doing - but continue to stress that time in Iraq did not begin with the surge. Rather, highlight how McSame enthusiastically supported the Iraq war from its disastrous beginning. Stress to Americans that the real problem with McSame is that he is a war monger who will lead our broken military into further wars as President.
- not to let Palin be a distraction. McSame is the target; Palin's shine will fade quickly the more she talks.

Yes, I realize this is all simple stuff (I'm venting more than anything else). But BO's adviser's should not over think this stuff. Keep the universe of issues small and concise - and repeat ad finitum.
