Biden is goig to rock when he speaks, make no mistake, I just watched the 3 minutes Scranton clip.
But, I can tell you this, he is NOT going to "go after Sarah Palin." Heck, he didn't even say her name, he properly called her "the governor."
People need to start realizing something about this. Palin is an absolute trainwreck, with MAJOR questions on ALL LEVELS, undeniably unqualified for the job, spotty record during what little time in service she has, real and tangible ethics issues and personal baggage that is going to keep the Enquire in business for the next two months.
AND, there ARE ONLY two months.
The media is doing all that it can to push the lable the Rs want on this nutjob - hockeymom reformer, but as much as the media is bought and paid for by the republican party, it also has an insatiable facination with the tabloid, and there simply is not enough time, ESPECIALLY since they are protecting her from the press, for all her baggage to get processed through.
NOPE. BO and Biden are staying AS FAR AWAY from this trainwreck as the possibly can, cause they are smart enough to know that while the rabid Rush crowd is going to whine about how the big bad liberal media and BO's campaign were so mean to this poor lady, the difference in votes in this election will be the people who can see the disconnect between the fact that this lady crash and burned on the basis of her own reckless life than BO or Biden having anything to do with it.
The VP debate IS going to go like this:
Biden will be gentlemanly and statesman like, he will properly refer to the governor as the govorner. There will be a GLARING disconnect between their competenc and knowledge base, but hte media won't give a rats tail about that, and will be waiting BREATHLESSLY to say Biden was mean to the woman - he will not give them the rope they want. They will declare her the winner by default for just showing up.
BUT, the people who are TRULY undecided are going to see the different in competence, and for good measure ARE going to be turned of by her negative tone and attitude.
Sorry, Biden is NOT going to rip her a new one - he will follow BO's lead and let her nature shine through. And, us political junkies are going to have to swallow the Blitzers and Mitchells of the world fawning all over the lady who can't be trusted to give interviews.
It won't feel as good to US, but it will do the trick for the genuinely discerning voters.
