Bush's DWI is fair game

If Kerry's activities after he came home from VN are fair game then so is Bush's DWI. The Swifties came after Kerry with their lies about Kerry's impeccable record in VN and the lies were proven false. America was outraged. People stood up on both sides for Kerry's war record including McCain and Bob Dole. But both Dole and McCain have said Kerry's actions after he came home were fair game politically, and reluctanatly, I must agree.

If Kerry's activities after he came home from VN are fair game. But, by the very same token, Bush's DWI got only a very brief airing in the media when it came to light. There were a lot of questions left unanswered such as why Bush never came clean about the DWI and why there was one big cooperative effort to keep the DWI covered up. The DWI is a fact so if Kerry's actions after VN are fair game, so is Bush's DWI.

In a lot of ways, Bush's embracing of the evangelical RW and claim to have God work through him has been self-innoculation against his drug abuse issues and drinking issues coming back up this year. Yes, there has always been an ulterior motive to all that in addition to the courting of the nutcase Christian vote.

But none of that means Bush answered any questions satisfactorily about this known DWI. I say bring out the commercials and just say what needs to be said. This man has lied about everything in his life and deceived people all his life. His "presidency" is no different. Bush's life is defined by the way he purposely concealed this DWi and lied about it.

Let's get the truth out.
