One of my classmates was talking about how she "liked Palin" the other day.

My response? "You shouldn't. She's a dominionist."

"What's a dominionist?" (Fair question, most folks in the middle aren't even aware these loons exist.)

"Right-wing Christian extremist." (Sadly, I neglected to make air quotes around 'Christian.')

You could practically see her reconsidering Palin. I didn't even have to bring up details of the dominionist movement. (Which most of us should be familiar with.)

To mainstream Christians, Dominionists are heretics. Their brand of religion demands that they infiltrate government so that they can rule the earth for 2000 years after the apocalypse. That's the brief version.

They have an "army" called "Joel's Army".

They kill doctors, why wouldn't they kill anyone (McCain) who stands between Palin and control of the world's most powerful military?
