When is the last time McCain took questions from the press?

I haven't seen any press conferences of interviews in a long time. What is he afraid of? If he can't face some reporters, how is he going to face Putin?

1. Last exchange I remember was with Jay Carney where his answer to questions

was, "Read my book." Don't remember when it happened though.
