Think He Finally Wore Out His POW Experience Tonight?
I mean sorry you had to go through that McCain but the constant whining about is getting old. Take some self-responsibility and go get some of the help you can afford but other vets can't because you veto it, asshole.

2. He's been playing that "pity me, I'm a POW" film since 1973!
One would think that it was worn out a long time ago. Thirty-five years of the same old song is way too long!

...so eager to release him early. After five years, they must have been sick to death of him.

11. He and his campaign are very shy about bringing it up
so, that's why it was a big surprise to some.

16. Listening to him, you'd almost think that getting captured was the objective in war.
If you look at the many great war heroes chronicled in American history, they are usually the ones whose actions contribute to victory. Getting captured and being held prisoner does not help one's country win a war.

And while being held as a POW is a monumental sacrifice for one's country, McCain should occasionaly mention that 60,000 other American servicemembers made a sacrifice infinitely greater than his 5 years in prison: they lost their lives in vietnam -- never to return to the U.S. and dump their wife for a rich heiress or use their father-in-law's connections to get a lifelong career in national politics.

17. Not To Mention That It Qualifies One To Be President
How many POWs were there? And why haven't they all run? Oh, not all had ties to the GOP "elite"? Hey McCain, how sad that the others qualified for President are relegated to the side of a freeway holding a sign because you vote against their benefits, asshole. That is exactly what I think everyday when I pass them on my way home.

18. Right. But you never hear him rhapsodize on these other servicemembers
He never mentions the ones who were killed or maimed in these recent wars or the vets suffering as a result of their service to the country. Hell, he wouldn't even vote for the legislation for vets because he feared improving benefits would give the active duty members too much incentive to leave.

Plain and simple, it's all about him and how he can parlay his war record into votes.

If the MSM had any backbone, they would call him on this and demand that he release his military records.
