For The First Time in 8 years
I dare to hope, I was literaly crushed by the 04 election I worked my ass off for Kerry/Edwards, I was at headquarters and making calls more hours a week than I worked. I had this feeling that we had it Election morning, only to be crushed by the weight of another stolen election, and in my beloved native state of Ohio. I really hope it will be like 06 and we will have too many votes to tamper with. I am almost sure 06 would have been a larger victory had they not tried to steal it. Karl Rove just couldn't overcome the huge leads. I get a feeling John McCain and Karl Rove aren't too friendly with one another, so whoever is running the show this time is not as adept at crooked politics as Rove, I hate Rove but it is quite evident he doesn't have much input in this, these are amatuers compared to him, and it is going to blow up in their face (to steal a line from Dubya) BIGTIME. I just feel we can and will win this time!!!!!!!!

2. We can....but we have to work it and be smart.
and one of the things we don't want to do is get distracted.

McCain is incompetent. Palin is not qualified.

Even with the 1/4 Black ticket, we should win by a landslide.....

As long as we keep our eyes on the prize and not on the bullshit.

6. rover will take as much 'input' as he can,
as he, among others, is in great jeopardy if dems win.

SO, stolen election remains a REAL problem this time, again.

You have EVERY reason to post. I worked my butt off for Kerry/Edwards, too -- talked until I was hoarse, etc, etc.

I sincerely do believe we're going to win. The only way they can win is by stealing it. But I think the margin will be
so wide, they won't be able to.

OH, and welcome to DU!!

11. Rove soft pedaled overt racism better than McShits
and thus did so more effectively, but that's probably because there's an African-American Dem at the top of the ticket this time.

The Repuke KKKonvention was the whitest mass KonKlave (sp. intentional) I've seen in a long time. More that 95% white? That ain't where this country's demographics are going. They are on a demographic death march. The sooner it ends the better.

12. people are sick of the sewer politics
People have had ENOUGH!!!! of lies, and the sense of entitlement from this nasty bunch, sick of having to pay out huge portions of their take home pay to buy gas, sick of the war, sick of the politics of fear. People want hope. People want change, and I believe they will see they can have both with Obama/Biden

13. Ralph Nader
is a closet republican I am so mad at him right now Why is he running? On the ballot in Ohio!!!!! He cant see past his ego to bow out. If he truly loved this country he would get behind Obama instead of working against him.
