she said don't let the election become about her. Basically, she's nothing. The big cahuna to take down is POW POW POW POW POW POW POW

9. The network that disappointed me the most this week was PBS -
just amazing ejaculation at the RNC speeches for the most part, with Judy Woodruff a particular unpleasant surprise. Mark Shields alone held down the fort of reason.

from cuomo: "I believe John when he says that he would die for his country...and he would, god bless him. He's a legitimate hero...but the problem is...he's willing to die for his country, but he's not willing to ask the wealthy to give a little bit of their money, for the country."

(though I'm a fan of "The Nation." She articulates extremely well a view not often heard on the MSM.

16. K atrina just said the Republican Party was the party of white refuge
in discussing the dissing of community organizing in Palin's speech. As many of us here acknowledged, she said it was "code." Anti-urban, anti-poor, anti-people of color.

I also loved when she said that Palin was talented, but ultimately just a package...a character...that is being used as a smoke screen.
