Cindy

I wish everyone who is watching could have been at the tribute to her lunch I was at earlier. She was terrific. Oozed authenticity and love for her family. There is something about this format that is not working for her right now. That's a shame, because she's a great lady.

Maybe you have to be there

... but from here, Ridge's speech is ... a good opportunity to get caught up on Giants -v- Redskins.

Tom Ridge could have been delivering this speech last night.

Senator Lindsey

Never seems right seeing him without John and Joe.

Joe Gibbs

Does John McCain know he's leading a spiritual revival?

What is up with RNC speakers tonight?

What is up with the speakers tonight at the RNC? Both Lindsey Graham and Tom Ridge have not been very inspiring to me, at all. My wife, who has not watched any of the RNC, stated they are putting on poor speakers to make McCain appear to be a better speaker when he takes the stage.

Tom Ridge and Sen. Graham are seldom great speechgivers.

Try not to worry about it. I’d rather have them giving early speeches as close friends of McCain, than a keynote speech as V.P. nominee.....

I was afraid they were overdoing it. But Fred's intro was good. The video may have been a bit much, though. I started to think that they were selling him as the messiah to counter Obama.

OKAY, THE MCCAIN BIO VIDEO was pretty weak. I can't believe they didn't do a better job given what they had to work with.

McCain should sew up the Irish vote, at least.
