What last night's speech showed America
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 12:41 PM by FSogol
1. The GOP is the party of the negative attack
2. The GOP is condescending
3. The GOP has no idea on how to correct problems in this country
4. The GOP is not even going to address issues on the economy, the environment, energy, education, our disappearing civil liberties, the war, etc
5. The GOP expects to win the election because they are white

Bottom line:

McCain is the same maverick asshole he's always been
Palin is GWB in a skirt

2. They also showed that George W. McCain's first task as POTUS in waiting was BOTCHED
He did, however, amplify the differences between him and Obama, making it very, very clear which of the two will make reasoned, sensible decisions and which will make rash, controversial and shallow political decisions.

We can lay out the welcome mat for President Barack Obama now. Might as well start picking out the color... would red be too gauche?

3. It showed American that Palin
is like the girl in the schoolyard who will taunt the boys until they react, then say, "You can't hit me -- I'm a girl!"

She's a bully in a skirt. Anne Coulter must be so proud...

4. Yeah that's not going to work especially with the middle/indies
That is what Obama has done with his whole campaign-kept nice and talked about the future. The Repubs have nothing left so they just resorted to talkradio nonsense.

5. I honestly think they thought the same campaign strategy would work a 3rd time ...... NOT!
