The cold slap of reality - the abortion issue
I've been working message boards and turning the debate back to the issues, especially abortion. It immediately diffuses any excitement about the speech and it's working to get people to focus back on what's important - THE ISSUES.

Rick Davis, campaign manager for John McCain's presidential bid, says "This election is not about issues,".

WANNA BET?

5. Good clarification
That's the point I'm hammering home. No abortion no matter what. This is what I've been emphasizing -

For my mother.
For my wife.
For my sister.
For my neices.

My vote goes to Obama. Palin is working to impose her extreme religious beliefs on all Americans and outlaw abortion even in cases of rape or endangerment of the life of the mother. I love the women in my life, and I will not stand for someone denying them their rights to their own reproductive systems.

Why won't the Republicans discuss the issues?

6. They want women to risk their health and even their lives for non-viable babies.
How sick is that?

3. The GOP wants to hide their extremist abortion slant.
We have to stop letting them talk in code to the fundies in vague terms like "life" etc.

The media needs to ask....is your goal the criminalization of abortion in this country? If elected what steps will you take to achieve it?

NOBODY wants to go back to the back alley and no choice.
