Where was Palin's american flag pin?
Is it just me that finds it weird that she had an israeli flag pin in her lapel and not an american one?

For all the crap Obama got about the lack of a flag pin I think it's a legitimate question for discussion.

2. Not an Israeli flag pin
It appeared to be a Blue Star pin (Blue Star Mothers have children in the military; Gold Star Mothers have lost a child in the military). I give her credit for that, even if her son may have joined up under duress.

6. A flag pin is an accessory, and it costs EXTRA to buy accessories for
Secessionist Barbie.

8. I would assume that she sat on it. In the motorcade. On the way to the Xcel Center
It is the only logical explanation for her very strange behavior tonight...

9. There was a video of her walking to her office
posted here a day or so ago. Some Alaska travel magazine or some such. Anyway, tucked on the wall of her bay window was a tiny Israeli flag.

I'm sure it's a signal to the fundies that are end time believers. Before Christ can return, a final battle must take place (Armageddon... it's a place, not a description of what is to happen, literally translated to Mount of Megiddo, which is a real place in Isreal... also the site of a large battle between Egypt and Judea in 609 BC, hence the legend that surrounds the place name). Anyway, the Pentecostals (which she is) believe that a battle or campaign must take place there before Christ returns and, furthermore, that the Jews must regain control of all of their ancient lands (and, of course, to be saved they must convert to being Christian or be damned to hell).

So, right now, the neocons are using the evangelicals and vice versa.

Neocons are actually Jewish Zionists who wish Israel to expand until all of Judea is under Jewish control, and the end time zealots think that this a required bible prophecy, so they both work together right now to start wars in the middle east, any war... Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, it doesn't really matter so long as it kills off the competition, namely Muslims. Look up the history of PNAC and who belongs to it, then look at the membership of AIPAC. Both groups think their bible calls for this, so they go along with each other until the 4th battle of Meggido happens. After that, I doubt the Israelis will want anything to do with the Pentecostals... and the Pentecostals will be like lemmings standing around outside waiting to be drawn up into heaven or Christ to arrive on a fiery chariot or some such bullshit.

Iraq was just the appetizer. The main course is a much larger (and more destructive) middle east war in Israel. Sarah might just want this to happen so bad that she puts events into motion to make it so (after all, when will a Pentecostal ever get another chance to bring about the return of Christ and the eventual end of the world???)
