2. No one has laid out a plan for America
Only negative.

I expect a huge blowback, not from the public but from Obama/Biden. She was snark and condescending. They will promoter her as tough which allows the dems to knock her out.

9. Not really. But underestimating one's opponents is never wise. So I won't.
We have two great candidates in Obama/Biden, but we can't let up.

12. No. Red meat for the base, but is it what the Indies want?
I doubt it. They want change, and a stadium full of unhinged republicans is not what the country is looking for.

13. Nope.
Fuckers are going down.

To stand up there and mock people who try to help out others.
To mock the idea that the accused have rights.

Not in my country.

Fuckers are going down.

15. I'll worry until Obama takes the oath and the Bush's leave on the plane
Since '80 (arguably since '60), the GOP convention has turned into a flagwaving and venom fest. Law & order, demean the liberals, insult the media, and set aside substantive issues in place of family, law & order, flag burning, and who loves America more.

If I'm worried, it's because about half the people fall for this crap over & over.

16. Yes, It is very scary that a man that looks to be on his death bed may be our next President. And
who will step in his shoes. An arrogant hateful nut job who was a pageant queen, mayor of a small town, and Governor of one of the smallest populated states in this country for a year and a half.

This country is truly fucked in the head.

21. They were in full attack mode tonight.
They are very desperate because they know Obama is running a better campaign and making better points. They were on the defensive tonight, trying to make fun of Obama's lack of experience and all they ended up doing was making fools of themselves. I am not worried, but I do expect them to start going more negative now. They have made their bed, after tonight.

25. Very. (But I'm a worrier.) As an Independent, tho, I think I see her thru a different prism.
I don't see how many Independents would go for her, based on her extremist positions (I mean...teaching CREATIONISM in school????? WTF???) But many people vote on their gut feeling about people, whether they like them (people usu. don't vote for people they don't like, IMO), and whether they identify with them, whether they can imagine them living down the street or going to school with them. Whether they would fight for some of their MAIN causes.

I think that some people outside their base might view her that way, and she certainly energizes their base (meaning they will actually show up to vote).

I see danger. Can't help it.

Some good polls would help. They'll have a bounce, but if the bounce isn't much, that'd be a good sign.

Some good responses and killer ads by Obama's campaign would also help.

I'll know more in a week.

26. To clarify: Lest you think I'm a weenie, I want to add that tho I'm worried, I'm big time PO'd!
I'm sick & tired of this "elite" crap, the "cosmopolitan" references, the out and out lies about Obama being upper crust, that there were no references to the terrorists at the Dem Convention, that Obama's speech contained no substance, that Obama's never done anything in his life except give speeches, etc. etc.

It is time to get rid of that wrinkly old geezer and his pet dog and kick his ass out for good. And take the beauty queen w/him.
