NPR this AM
"More than 100,000 protestors marched..." they said on the 'news'.

Technically true, but not accurate in a strict sense. They could have said more than 5,000 I suppose, but you get my drift.

Also, Cokie waxing poetic about convention speeches, as if she knew anything about anything. Her bit is tiring, and it's a shame they kept her and got rid of Kevin Phillips, who at least is intellectually honest at this stage of his career.

1. Cokie Roberts is useless.
Her appearance on 'Real Time with Bill Maher' was one of the most pathetic, dull, vacant I've seen. All 3 guests -- Cokie, Bob Barr and Steve Harvey -- were just pitiful. Cokie was a grinning fool, Barr and buffoon, and Harvey was just disconnected and bizarre. (DL Hughley and Michael Moore have been the best guests so far this season, and Chris Matthews this last Friday the best call-in.)

2. I thought Ashleigh Banfield was great too.
Besides, the woman is beautiful. Beauty and brains...never a bad combination!

3. Yes, Ashleigh was good, too
She and Michael Eric Dyson were really drilling the neanderthal, Rohrbacher.

I just wish we could have heard something on why Ashleigh disappeared from MSNBC.

4. I do recall that there was some story
about her inability to 'get along' with anyone at all whatsoever. Who knows if this was true?

It was a great show and the only thing which I would have said to Rohrbacher would have been: "Sneering and waving hands in a dismissive fashion is not an argument."

5. Wasn't She Canned...
...after daring to question *'s divinity? I think that michael weiner also called her a whore for that.

Sometimes you can tell alot about a person by who dislikes them. In that case, Ashleigh is A.O.K. in my book!

6. Guess this demonstrates what he said about the difficulty of getting
good guests...
