Following our John Edwards' exclusives, our political reporting has obviously proven to be more detail-oriented than the McCain campaign's vetting process. 7. The great thing about the Enquirer is that they don't care if

they're criticized for mucking about in the mud. They'll go where the MSM is afraid to.

And since they broke the Edwards story (and somebody here mentioned they also broke Enron, I think) - people won't be so fast to discount the stories.
