4. I am wondering also but what I remember about this is hell Obama was maybe 9 years old

when all that stuff took place. The only connection to Ayers I thought was that he and Obama were on a board of a college together in Chicago for a time. Not like they were buddies or anything, only that business relationship. But I am not up on all this. I can't see how there could be very much or you know where they would be with it. I think they just bring it up like Bennet did today and throw it out on TV hoping it sticks somewhere.

He was making fun of repukes by there claims that Palin has experience in the loosest of senses, such as being close to Russia means something about foreign experience. He would call the game "Six Degrees Of Sarah Palin" where the object is to just be associated in the loosest sense.

9. Obama was 8 years old when Ayers was a member of the...

Weather Underground, or whatever it was.
(This is all from memory, so go to wiki for the full story.)
They were a rather violent anti Viet Nam war group.
They did blow up some federal facilities.
They also sent warnings to the occupants and claim that no one was ever killed or injured.

Ayers is now (reportedly) a respected professor at some Illinois (Chicago?) university and works to help poor and homeless.
Through his work with the same groups, Obama has come to know Ayers.
I think Ayers may have held a fundraiser for Obama at some point.
I believe Obama has expressed disapproval of Ayers' youthful activities.

And Bill Bennett is a slug.
