LYING

Palin Exaggerated Work Experience for Mayoral Campaign. In 1997, Frontiersman columnist Paul Stuart wrote that after Palin had criticized her opponent for using City Hall resources for political gain, "when Palin was asked back then (by me) why the lodge where she claimed, in her campaign, to have gained her management experience, had no record of a borough business license or of paying any bed tax, she paused and said it might have been because the place had no clients for a year or so." In an article describing the possibility of recalling Palin, the Frontiersman wrote the "reasons include Palin's alleged falsification of her credentials during the campaign last fall."

1. Really? She inflates her resume? No effin' way. She's the most
qualified VP to ever run for the office. The GOP talking heads have me convinced.

2. Maybe she's telling the truth...
because she mismanaged it into bankruptcy?

"Under my management, the business had zero customers!"

4. Let's review
Edited on Wed Sep-03-08 03:54 PM by DeschutesRiver
The "executive" experience she claimed as qualifying her for mayor was running an empty lodge not yet open for business.

The "executive" experience she claimed for Wasilla, so far, seems to be collecting fed funds checks, handing them to private churches to build hockey arenas (is the right timing?), while neglecting the high school, and firing city staff because they weren't falling in line with "the way she wanted to govern" nor "banning the books she demanded be banned."

The "executive" experience she claimed for handling those bad corrupt boys as governor was actually done by the FBI; and the rest appears to have been handled by the first dude, known locally as "The Shadow Governor."

So her executive experience is just a figment of her overactive imagination. I also read that the person who did compete against her in the Miss Congenality contest claims Sarah came in second to HER, not winning as claimed. Would need verification that the complainer isn't some drunk, bitter has been that is making that up.

Oh...and the nude photos. Because you all know like I do, even if you won't say it, that this story demands that as a finishing touch.

ETA: I don't where this fits on the timeline, but she was the one who urged that dairy to be taken over and run by a board appointed by her, which subsequently failed spectacularly (and in a market that is price fixed, as dairy products are) and now can't be unloaded for love nor money.

Oh...and I almost forgot - note to self, check on that whole "carwash may have failed" deal.

5. That's a good time line
I thought it was a soccer field but I could very well be wrong

A carwash in Alaska??? what could go wrong????

(I know I know it isn't covered with snow all the time) still a carwash in Alaska sounds a lot like winning a beauty pageant in Alaska...or coming close.

8. no kidding about the carwash:)
If Sarah is still here this time next week, I'll go check the facts and fix the timeline. Given the new National Enquirer article that is coming out tomorrow at grocery checkstands across america, I can't see her lasting much longer.

Given how creative her resumes are, it may be fun someday to see how she spins her experience of being a former VP candidate:)
