"Fellow citizens, if the Hanoi Hilton could not break John McCain’s resolve to do what is best for his country, you can be sure the angry left never will." - Bush

I'm sure McMansions has said as bad or worse.

They spent 8 years engaging in partisan bullying at each and every opportunity. It's pathetic that the M$M will get away with whitewashing the examples of their partisan acts of bad faith. It's not like it's a short list.

I intend to talk to everyone who'll listen about how insulting it is for them to try to pretend otherwise now.

p.s. I'm passing this around to everyone I can engage on the subject, hope you are as well. Offtopic but eh...

1. It's no more than an advertising campaign slogan.

7. Well I'm in a blood red area...
but everyone around me in every line I stand in from now till November is gonna hear some talk about these issues if I can engage anyone in conversation about it.

And honestly, that's not hard to do. The people who like these policies don't do their own shopping. The people who THINK they like these policies but still do their own shopping need us to educate them. The M$M is treating them like sheep.

11. With hard work and providence, they won't get it.
We'll need a landslide to keep them from stealing it again.

4. Well, they aren't saying WHICH COUNTRY is first.
Edited on Wed Sep-03-08 09:46 AM by AndyA
Seems they're padding bank accounts in Dubai UAE for the last few years, so perhaps that's the country that's first with them. :(

13. They're trying to scam voters into thinking they mean America.
That's what pisses me off.

14. "that old, discredited Republican philosophy"
I love the way Obama described their "trickle down" idiocy. :)

8. They are 100% party first above anything and everything.
they are showing it by how they are following lock-step in line with the Palin choice.
It is a HORRIBLE choice for VP and had she been a democrat and Obama chose her, the press and every single republican politician would be on the t.v. and radio talking about how insane it was. Democrats would have had a meltdown at the convention over something like this.. whereas republicans rejoice and assume that their republican God is in control of the U.S. so it doesn't matter who is at the top of the ticket as long as they are republican.

15. Exactly - Sarah Palin's nomination is a perfect example.
Because you're right... if the Dems had dared nominate a far-left extremist with a history like hers... we'd never hear the end of it... and the Dem electorate would have a problem with it too... but like you said, they just get in line and support this completely unqualified extremist and want her to be a heartbeat away from the presidency, because they do put party before country.
