Raise the expectations for Palin's speech. She is trained and experienced with media:
Raise the expectations. Palin is skilled with media. She has a degree in journalism / communications. One of her first jobs was as a TV anchor in Alaska. She knows what she is doing.

She will skillfully deliver a prepared speech and the Republicans will give her a bigger ovation than McCain will get. It will be presented as a media triumph and "proof" that she is capable and ready.

Expect the speech to be light on substance and lean heavily on her son and her husband. She may use the term "politics of personal destruction" to exploit her daughter Bristol again. Future son-in-law Levi is expected to join them on stage.

The new theme for McCain / Palin is "Country first: Reform, prosperity, peace". Expect her to push reform and lie about the Bridge to Nowhere.

As always, bring it back to two things: She is not ready to be President and she has radical ultra-conservative policies. Ask people you talk to: "Would you vote for Palin-McCain if she headed the ticket?"

1. I expect a better speech than even Obama can deliver
Anything less will be a disappointment.

3. Let's face it...

Her skill is her personality and her ability to communicate. She is well versed in both. This is what she is suppose to bring to the McCain campaign. She will hit a home run tonight. Plus she desperately needs to!

Let's see if she can rise to the occasion. Mediocrity just won't do.

7. Don't you know...

That any negative thought against Palin means you are sexist?

Palin will use her "shrieking, girly voice" to bring our great Nation together tonight. Only a tremendous politician, who understands the problems every family goes through could possibly deliver such a great speech. This is our time. This is our moment. And the most talented qualified person in America (Or GOP) to do this, is clearly Sarah Palin.

10. Yes, because Lord knows, when dealing with the intricacies of the Middle East, nuclear
proliferation, American inequality of income/opportunity, global warming/trade/genocides/recession, PERSONALITY is what COUNTS.

Dame Thatcher reels.

8. No-brainer prediction: The applause for "Our Sarah" will be ridiculously OTT, just to "SHOW THEM!"

13. Look for this tell that she had nothing to do with the speech
When, like Bush, she messes up on big words that she doesn't know.
