I posted this elsewhere, but I hacked into the NSA records of everyone's
phone calls, and found out why this happened. Dobson simply dialed the
wrong number. Here's the conversation, and with whom:

Dobson: *dial* *dial* *dial*

Satan's phone rings. He picks up: "Yes?"

Dobson: Is that you, God?

Satan (amused): Why, of course. What can I do for you?

Dobson: Could you please make it rain on Obama's speech
Thursday night?

Satan: Umm, I could, sure, but why should I do that?

Dobson: Well, you see, Obama is a liberal Muslim, and we
who love You want it to rain on his speech.

Satan: Indeed? Anything else?

Dobson: Well, now that you ask, yes. I'd love for it to be
beautiful and pleasant everywhere starting September 1, to
prove that you love me and all my Republican friends.
Would that be OK?

Satan: I'll definitely do the appropriate thing. You have my
solemn promise (checks a map of the Gulf Coast).

Dobson: Thank you, Lord! We worship you and are ever ready to do your will!

Satan: I can tell! Well, keep it up, you're doing a heck of a

4. Obama's speech last Thursday night
