I think that the Palin stuff is a smokescreen. This election MUST be
about Obama vs McCain, strengths and weaknesses, truths and lies (of course, the Palin choice can be brought in as an aspect of McCain's impetuousness and lack of judgement).

But even looking at tonight's news - more Palin news breaking - it is almost looking like Palin is being used to take the focus off of the lies and distortion coming from McCain and his minions.

It is entertaining, it sure is fast moving, but I fear that it is taking the eye off of the ball.

4. I would however, offer that one issue here is McCain's crappy judgement.
Palin BLOWS his campaign out of the water. This is a dangerous world -- he picks Palin? We need experience -- he picks Palin? He's the "serious" and "sober" foreign policy ticket -- and he picks Palin?

I don't know, it could be a lot of distraction, but this thing just destroys his 1 draw.

5. True. WE see that - but the lame$tream is busily deifying him and her and...
...that is where most voters still get their "news". To even listen to NPR - she's a perfectly viable - if not excellent - choice. :puke:
