Does ANYONE doubt her speech tomorrow night will be a huge success!!
Lets admit, they have to have a team of 5 of the best writers in the party working on it. I am sure they have 5 voice coaches and media people coordinating her every move and nuance!

She is comfortable in from of the camera and looks good.

And she will be 1000s times better tham McLame so the expectations are low.

The audience will be coached to clap and stand on queue.

It will be a huge success and the GOP will say the issues are behind her.

There is hardly any way it can hurt more than the last 5 days have.

And the media will gush all over it because she reedemed herself.

I think she will say what every GOP idiot wants to hear.

And we won't fall for any of it!

2. Well, she does sound like a character out of Fargo...
I think it's possible her speech will not go over a well as you think.

5. Absolutely--it will overshadow Obama's speech as the triumph of the century, because
the woman is comfortable speaking in front of cameras and is a dandy actress. She will soar above low expectations and become a "Legally Blonde" type of spunky American heroine, I have no doubt.

6. She's going to be surprsingly good; I've seen her. Biden had better not hold back in the debates;
Palin's a rhetorical sharpshooter.

She's gonna kick ass.

because Biden has already faced her. Somehow I doubt it.

21. She better be. Hillary stood toe to toe with him and held her ground damn well. No reason that
the respected, achieved Ms. Palin, who is purported to be Senator Biden's political equal, can't do the same...

(nudge, nudge)

and this speech will be given amongst that backdrop, i mean, god knows where we'll stand on all this tomorrow. I agree 100% that this will be the most coached display of bullshit, but with everyone now questioning her, she's gonna be starting off with a big deficit. Although it is going to be highly watched (prolly twice as many viewers as will watch mccain)

i can't believe that they orchestrated all this nonsense just to stimulate their base and the repubs who were feeling bush-mccain fatigue because it is too much that might not be able to be washed away.

i honestly believe they made a huge mistake and are desperately trying to slap a happy face on and pretend they meant it.

The speech will be good, for sure, you're right, i'd bet more than 5 voice coaches! But can it overcome the questions that are being drilled into people's minds? i hope not.

the disappointing old fart and his tired ideas--that's why they picked Caribou Barbie to knock 'em dead.

10. Yes the MSM will be PRAISING it as the Speech of the Century and how Democrats are in deep trouble
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 04:08 PM by quantass
and how McCain is truly a Maverick ...the polls will move in repubs favor and the press will drop all coverage of Palin's growing problems and focus back on why is Obama not doing more to counter and why he is being sexist :puke: ... Palin will now become another McCain in that the media will defend her no matter how much she tells them she is going to continue to destroy america and the history to prove it. Just watch! Its all predictable!

All she has to do in her speech is just say how she is a soccer mom and they will comment how she is very much like America and truly an american story. They will feed us the details of what her life should be in what is not covered in her speech and thus the media says, thus the public believes.

This thing just started a new chapter to the finish line

She just needs to deliver it without sounding like a character from Fargo, and Big Media will take it from there.

16. update: well, she's cancelling important events to prepare, so you're right!
Palin spokeswoman Maria Comella said McCain's running mate will not be attending the event because she is "preparing for her speech at the convention."

and people aren't happy about it (repubs)

20. She'll need to deliver it a lot better than she did in Ohio- she's not awful, but that squeaky voice
and cheerleader demeanor give her a "not ready for prime time" air about her.

and add lower harmonics to balance out the excess high frequency squeaks.

27. It'll be interesting to see what the "substance" of her speech will be b/c
they can't use stuff from her Dayton debut:

* Look at my beautiful family --
* Against the Bridge to Nowhere -- after she was for it!
* Against earmarks -- with the exception of the $20+ million for Wasilla and the $200K spent to secure them
* Putting country first -- once Alaska's allowed to secede!
* Hillary's 18-million cracks -- "BOO!BOO!BOO!"
* Change! -- more "gates" than LAX and O'Hare put together

What the hell is she gonna talk about????
