I suppose I should bite my tongue in case anything detrimental comes up in Biden's history between now and November, but how about we give props to Caroline Kennedy and Eric Holder for not taking a shotgun approach to helping Obama select a running mate.

They say the VP selection is the first test for a commander in chief, and the strong vetting process we had shows that Obama knows who to surround himself with and how to exercise careful, judicious thinking.

Obama-Biden '08, baby! And here's to you, Kennedy-Holder!
