"Worst Pivot Ever"
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 12:31 PM by Heather MC
Anyone catch President Bushes announce that interrupted Morning Joe earlier today?

I was watching Bush this Morning he was suppose to give an update about the relief effort for New Orleans, and what the next step would be.
He quickly pivoted to the Oil Rigs, saying the most important thing was the energy
and they were are inspecting the rigs to make sure they are secure, we need more oil and we need to begin Off shore drilling in more places.

I was like WTF does this have to do with the people of the GULF.
Even one of the Guest on Morning Joe Commented calling it
"the worst pivot ever"

1. He couldn't be bothered about the actual people of New Orleans during Katrina...
...so why would he be the least bit bothered about them during a relative walk-in-the park like Gustav?

2. Come on now. You and I both know that he doesn't give a shit about the non-oilmen in the Gulf.
So, when he says, "relief for the people of the Gulf," he of course means "relief for the oil industry in the Gulf."

4. They don't call him Segue Steve for nothing. Well, they don't actually
call him Segue Steve at all, and we know why.
