Poll question: Election: Where Are We Now?
I really don't know what to make of the polls but I can't believe that WE, THE PEOPLE, as a whole, are so shallow and stupid to not know that McCain has positioned himself to represent another 4 years. And I can't believe that WE, THE PEOPLE, as a whole, are so shallow and stupid to not want another 4 years.

I can, however, believe that a substantial portion of WE, THE PEOPLE would choose not to vote for Obama based on race, and that a substantial portion of WE, THE PEOPLE, would find ways to rationalize that choice and might even be demented enough to vote in a McCain.

Well, I could go on but I'm more interested in what the DU community thinks.

1. More low information voters oppose "over 70" and female candidates than are
against candidates of a certain race... racist vote likely a wash
