I think had McCain chosen Christie Todd Whitman as VP, he might have gained some traction.
That might have had some attraction to some independents.

But, well, that would have never happened.

1. The wing nuts hate Christy Todd Whitman. She is pro choice. Plus she has been out of the loop too

I'll have to add her to my list of Republican women who were infinitely more qualified to be President than Sarah Palin.
