11. If she does withdraw(which I think is possible), it will be because
of some health related issue with her or some family member. McCain dumping her from the ticket is doubtful, since it would cause complete chaos within the fundie base.
6. There are some Republicans that are getting VERY tired of bush
They are beginning to feel that the economy and the war are (gasp) more pressing issues than abortion. They will switch if we keep hounding on the McCain/Palin failings on key issues affecting them.
This dirt throwing that has been going on is only going to alienate those extra voters. When elections are questionable VOTERS REALLY COUNT.
The remaining Republican voters could not care less what we drag up about Palin's or her daughter's sexuality. They will vote a straight Rep. ticket no matter what simply because their pastors tell them to.
8. I agree. McCain can't drop her, without losing his entire base. He didn't
pick the person he actually wanted for VP in order to placate the wingers, and he will not drop her, because he's more afraid of the right than he is of losing the election.
