4. Couple that quote with Palin on CNBC asking what the VP does exactly, but saying whatever the role
is it would would have to benefit Alaskans.... could be a good commercial.

5. At least he left God out of it
He didn't say 'God damn America', that would have been over the top, as we have seen on the new FOX spin-off channel, Rev.WrightTV.

Members of 'Fringe' Alaskan Independence Party Say Palin Was a Member in 90s
September 01, 2008 6:52 PM

The campaign of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., likes to herald the independence of its new running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Officials of the Alaskan Independence Party say that Palin was once so independent, she was once a member of their party, which, since the 1970s, has been pushing for a legal vote for Alaskans to decide whether or not residents of the 49th state can secede from the United States.

15. If one is a member of a group wouldn't anyone with sense realize they are
a member because they SHARE the same views???????? What a silly question.

16. "Silly question?" - I wanted an attribution for the quote, which the original poster did not
did not provide. It would have been dynamite if SHE had said it. The original post also did not mention the fact that she was a member of this group. The poster ASSUMED the reader was already aware of this.

22. I thought that was kind of interesting..he seemed a bit suprised himself..
small world, what I find interesting is that his sister has not talked to him in two years? It seems they were fairly close, and he seems like a great guy, why would a sister refuse to talk to you simply based on your politics? Its what his story made me believe is the reason and for that, I find this group a bit whacked as you would say..

But as for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does everyday? so she's going to use her VP slot to push for Alaskan independence after she's fulfilled her list of earmarks?
